Want a little extra magic? You can choose dough that’s gently scented with pure essential oils (think lavender for chill vibes, geranium for a sweet floral twist, or chamomile for calm play)… or keep it unscented if that’s your jam.

Made in our peanut-free kitchen (yay!), but since we use third-party ingredients, we can’t promise they’re totally nut-free.

And just a gentle reminder, as yummy as it looks and smells, our dough is for play only — not snack time. Always best with a little grown-up supervision to keep the fun safe and happy.

To keep your Tiny Trove playdough soft, squishy, and ready for endless fun, just remember a few simple tricks! Always play with clean hands on a clean, dry surface, and pop the dough back into its airtight tub once playtime is over. Skip the fridge because condensation makes it go all sticky, and keep it away from direct sunlight so the colours stay bright and happy. A cosy spot in a cupboard or shelf is just right. And here is a magic tip: if your dough feels a little dry, add a few drops of vegetable oil and give it a big squish… ta da, good as new!

Your Tiny Trove playdough can last three to six months or even longer when it gets lots of playtime love at least once a week and is tucked safely back into its airtight container.

Before every play date give it a quick look and sniff test. If you spot mold or catch a funny smell it means your dough has had enough adventures and it is time to say goodbye and welcome a fresh squishy new batch!

At The Tiny Trove we design our playdough with curious little hands in mind. Playing with it is not just fun it is also an amazing workout for those tiny fingers. All that squeezing squishing and pinching helps build up strength in their hands and arms. When they roll flatten and sculpt with tools they are also boosting their hand eye coordination. And of course the best part is letting their imagination run wild to create beautiful patterns and wonderful little masterpieces.

Most people say the recommended age is around 18 months but we believe the fun can start even earlier. Little ones as young as one year old can already enjoy playdough as long as they are strong enough to sit upright for a while. With guided play and a watchful grown up by their side playdough time can be safe happy and full of giggles.

For babies a big waterbead sensory bin is still a little too early. But that does not mean they have to miss out on the fun. Even little ones under one year old can safely enjoy waterbeads when you pop them into sensory bottles or sealed ziplock bags. They get all the squishy wobbly fun without any of the mess.

While waterbeads are non toxic and eco friendly they can still be a choking hazard for younger kids or curious little ones who love to mouth everything. That is why adult supervision is a must whenever waterbeads are in play.
